With arguably some of the biggest names on the scene all tweeting the same thing it’s hard to really prove those rumours wrong. However, the Eagles have hired an assistant Coach who used to work alongside Pat Shurmur as a Defensive coordinator which led many to believe that Shurmur was going to become the new Head Coach.

However Pederson does have a detailed history with Shurmur who was at the team whilst Pederson was actually playing at the time.
But it was reported earlier today that with Coughlin now out of the picture, Pederson would indeed be the man to beat and if this League Source is correct (the news has also been broken on NFL Network) then it would be safe to assume the race is over and the former Eagles player and coach will be making a return following a highly successful season under Andy Reid..who’s a former Philadelphia Eagles Head Coach.
