Many Eagles fans were hoping that somehow a trade between the birds and the Saints that would send Payton to the Eagles could be worked out but it appears the speculation over the Super Bowl winning Head Coach’s future has been put to rest.
After days of deliberation, I'm told that #Saints coach Sean Payton isn't going anywhere. He and GM Mickey Loomis agreed he's staying. Wow

NFL Insider Ian Rapoport has put the nail in the coffin of the Payton to Philly rumours as it appears he will indeed remain the coach of the Saints. We reported recently why a move to Philly would be so unlikely for Sean Payton and with the Eagles interviewing so many candidates, waiting on the future of one Coach whilst falling back in line for some top prospects would have been crazy.
The two front runners appear to be Adam Gase and Pat Shurmur according to a report on Bleeding Green Nation but with several Coaches still yet to interview, that could all change.
