It’s actually quite surprising that Davis has outlasted Chip Kelly..but it may not be by much. Several reporters claim to have spoken to the Eagles Defensive coordinator earlier today..his response to the news didn’t seem to hold much hope in terms of his own future.

Hardest part, Davis said, is affect it has on family. He has five kids and will likely be moving once again.

Whilst many fans have wanted to see the back of Davis for a while now, you can’t help but feel sorry for him if he does indeed get fired. In press conferences he comes across as respectful and honest whilst off the field appears to be a very humble man. A football man through and through but for some reason guys like Alonso and Maxwell just haven’t performed under him despite their obvious talent.
This isn’t official..but of course if Davis himself doesn’t hold much hope and is preparing to tell his kids that they’re moving again it doesn’t look too good.
