Every year the guys at Bleacher Report select an all-rookie team to applaud those who have performed exceptionally well throughout the course of the season. With 72 rookies playing over 100 snaps this season..it’s fair to say that this was one of the most impressive draft classes in recent memory and for the Eagles that was no exception.
There was one Eagle in particular who stood out this season..at least until November. Third round pick Jordan Hicks exploded onto the scene in Philadelphia and changed the pass rush entirely..to the point where he was even calling the shots.
Prior to the injury, Hicks racked up 50 tackles, two interceptions (including that beautiful #HicksSix) and three pass deflections..that alone was enough for Bleacher Report to recognise Hicks and name him in their all-rookie team alongside players such as Marcus Peters, Jameis Winston, Todd Gurley and Amari Cooper.
So in a season of disappointment for the Eagles there was one gleaming positive..the legend of Jordan Hicks. The best part is, it has only just begun.
