We’re just days away from the Eagles Sunday Night showdown against the Arizona Cardinals and things are beginning to look a little brighter in terms of the teams injury status.
Byron Maxwell came back to practice today which was a relief to many after missing the first two days but according to reports earlier today, the former LoB member told the media that he could barely week on Monday and Tuesday with his ankle injury. Full participation in practice is certainly a step in the right direction but just how active Maxwell will be remains a mystery.
Jordan Matthews also returned to full practice after being limited with his back issue that left him questionable against the Bills. We reported yesterday that he expected to be back to full participation within two days so it’s good to see the Eagles number one getting healthier quicker than we expected.
There were no limited participants for the Eagles which meant both Barbre and Tobin were also working as normal. The only player to sit out today was Defensive End Vinny Curry who was absent with illness. Curry has exploded in recent weeks so fingers crossed he’s back on the practice field before Sunday!
The birds look healthier than they did this time last week which is just as well..because they are going to need everyone at their best to take on an 11-2 Cardinals team.
