Byron Maxwell hopes to play on Sunday: Eagles Injury Report

The first official injury report for this week has been released by the Philadelphia Eagles as the team continue their preparations to face Arizona.

There was only one absentee from practice, cornerback Byron Maxwell. This marks the second day running in which Maxwell has missed practice due to an ankle injury sustained against the Bills.

According to reports, he’s expected to return to full practice on Thursday and is hoping to play on Sunday..which for the Eagles would be a huge sigh of relief considering the core they’re coming up against. Without Carroll or Eric Rowe, Maxwell is going to need to step up if he does indeed start.

Jordan Matthews was limited as a persistent back issue continues to plague the Eagles number one receiver, but he’s also expecting to return to full practice within the next two days.
