Three days removed from the Eagles’ emphatic victory over the Patriots..preparation for the return of LeSean McCoy is already well under way.
The good news for the Eagles is that this is the first day in at least the last four weeks where only one player has missed practice. Bennie Logan the Defensive Tackle was sidelined during todays activities due to a knee injury he picked up last week. He was listed as questionable on Sunday so the 19 snaps he played in against the Pats may have further aggravated the injury.
Ryan Mathews practiced for the second day running and despite being limited today, looks set to return to the Eagles against the Bills after missing three games with a severe concussion and groin injury.
Eric Rowe suffered an ankle sprain and missed practice yesterday but returned to action today alongside Lane Johnson who miraculously played through an AC Joint sprain against the Patriots. The same injury that sidelined Bradford.
Cedric Thornton was also surprisingly a full participant today despite missing Sunday’s win with an ankle injury. Jason Peters was also a full participant which when looking at how long the back problem has hounded him, was an encouraging sign.
With just one player missing, the Eagles are almost back to full strength which is a very rare phrase when talking about NFL teams..but will the story remain the same as they prepare for Rex Ryan and the Bills?
