Earlier today the Philadelphia Union announced that Talen Energy (who were formerly known as PPL EnergyPlus) have been named as the new stadium sponsor for the home of the Philadelphia Union.
Talen Energy posted this picture on Instagram, confirming that the new name of the stadium is set to be the “Talen Energy Stadium”.

We have to admit, the logo does look very cool!
The stadium is set to enter its seventh season as the home for the Union and is also set to host some huge events over the next 12 months. In an official press release from the team, Vice president of Corporate Partnerships and Premium Seating was quoted as saying;
“Our two companies share a level of commitment and passion that we want to utilize as our organization continues to grow. This is a mutually beneficial opportunity that we expect to fully capitalize on.”
