Last night rookie linebacker Jordan Hicks suffered what’s believed to be a pec injury after a tackle on Cole Beasley. According to Ian Rapoport, the standout and projected Defensive Rookie of the Year contender could well miss a few games.
Based on preliminary results, good news for #Eagles standout LB Jordan Hicks, who injured his pec. Belief is just a 2-4 week injury. MRI now

After the team’s huge win, Hicks was quick to tell the media that he feels good but would undergo an MRI scan.
Luckily, both DeMeco Ryans and Kiko Alonso should be back to their best within those few weeks after Alonso was eased back into the lineup with 37% of snaps against Dallas. Hicks has been making a huge impression and at one stage was even leading this unit earlier in the season. A pick six last night to turn the tide of the game was the icing on the cake for the linebackers simply exceptional season.
With MRI results projected to be released within the next couple of days, it will be intriguing to see what they show. Hopefully Simba returns to the lineup very soon.
