It was said to be a gametime decision a few days back when news broke that DeMarco Murray’s injury was nothing more than a tweak. Murray had told people that he would test his leg in the warmup for todays game to see if he is going to play and it appears..he won’t be.
Last years top rusher has been listed as inactive just moments ago after suffering some tightness in the injured hamstring during the Eagles’ pregame workout.
Murray has as little as 11 yards on 21 rushing attempts this season, but he has been utilised much more by making short receptions.
It’s assumed that Ryan Matthews will be taking the majority of snaps in todays game, but with Chip Kelly..you just never know what he has up his sleeve.
