DeMarco Murray was quick to reassure teammates earlier today that his hamstring injury was nothing to worry about. NFL Insider Ian Rapoport reported recently that after undergoing tests, Murray’s injury is indeed just a tweak.

Murray had an MRI scan following the injury and was listed as “limited” on the Eagles injury report. With the team scheduled to face one of the toughest Defenses in the league on Sunday, a slightly less than 100% Murray is just another advantage the team can’t afford to hand over. Even if the former Cowboys running back is at 95% this weekend, it may be better safe than sorry to let Ryan Matthews, Darren Sproles and maybe even Kenjon Barner try to establish a running game. As we wrote earlier on though, the absence (if any) may not be a bad thing after all…
