William Moore has been fined $23,000 following an illegal head to head challenge on Eagles wide receiver Jordan Matthews according to ESPN.
The tackle (replay below) drew no flags from the referee’s (surprise, surprise) and it was honestly surprising to see that with the league being so focused on concussions this year that no following action was taken. In fact, Matthews got straight back up and played in the next snap before walking off to the sidelines.

Matthews came back into the game moments later but the point is that should have clearly been a penalty. The Falcons safety is also set to appeal the fine, it will be interesting to see how that goes down.
