Two major announcements have come out of Philly today. The first being that Kiko Alonso will practice today for the first time since picking up a concussion last week. The other news appears to be the latest in what seems to be a never ending spree of Eagles Off-Season moves, the birds signed former Southern Miss Linebacker Dasman McCullum earlier on today according to a press release from the team.
To make room for the 23 year old, the Eagles waived Jordan DeWalt-Ondijo following an early game exit against the Colts on Sunday.
Prior to the move, McCullum had attended camp with the Washington Redskins but despite being offered a contract, he was released by the team in early August. Whilst he is probably a camp body, it’s good to see Chip adding more depth to the chart..but that’s not to say that the 6″4 machine doesn’t come with his own injury worries.
The linebacker has endured three knee surgeries through his career so far, but that won’t scare Chip..why? Sports Science that’s why!
