Sam Bradford took part in 7-on-7 drills for the first time since his signing at the Eagles practice on Tuesday.
Mark Sanchez was the first QB called up at a rainy NovaCare Complex, followed by Matt Barkley and Tim Tebow. Sam Bradford’s turn and first chance at some 7-on-7 reps came after the first three had worked out but with the first-team players.
Still sporting a brace on his surgically repaired left knee, Bradford didn’t participate in all of the activities, nor did he address the media afterwards. As the afternoon drew in he stepped aside, watching the remaining Quarterbacks throw distances.
Interestingly, Bradford’s first two passes were incomplete but overall his receivers were impressed by what they saw and left very positive comments in the media interviews.
The Eagles will continue to work with Mark Sanchez, but to have the ex Ram practice in a competitive environment for the first time, was definitely an encouraging sign.
The other large talking point of today was the sheer pace of rookie receiver Nelson Agholor. As the hype builds, it appears his engine does too..I genuinely can’t tell if we’re watching an Eagles receiver or Sonic the hedgehog here..
