The countdown until the start of the NFL season has officially begun, and to kick things off the Philadelphia Eagles have announced their opponents they will face in this years pre-season.
Indianapolis Colts @ Home
Baltimore Ravens @ Home
Away @ Green Bay Packers
Away @ New York Jets
Lincoln Financial Field will play host to the first two games of the Eagles preseason, as the Colts and Ravens journey into Philadelphia. Then probably the most important fixture on the schedule takes place as Chip takes his Eagles to Green Bay to face NFC Offensive player of the year Aaron Rodgers and the Packers in an NFC showdown. Whilst some say pre-season doesn’t matter, it never hurts to get a psychological advantage over your rivals before the season starts!
The Eagles will once again end their pre-season with a matchup against the New York Jets in the fifteenth consecutive pre season meeting between the two teams. This match could also show some insight as to how they will fair later in the year when the two teams collide for a regular season matchup.
