Following a season where Cole recorded a somewhat disappointing 6.5 sacks and moving into a year where he’s estimated to count for over $11 million against the salary cap, something amazing was going to have to go down in Philly for experienced pass rusher Trent Cole. However, that may just have happened. Sources are reporting that negotiations are indeed taking place and are looking to keep Cole at the Linc for at least another year. Is it worth taking a risk and keeping a potentially declining Cole in the roster when you could potentially draft a much younger player? We will find out soon enough.
