NFL Week 6 odds: The Philadelphia Eagles are 5-0 coming into this week’s clash against the New York Jets. Initially, this was circled as a real test for the Birds and while it will still be tough, it’s been made notably easier by the absence of Aaron Rodgers.

The Eagles have opened up as 6.5-point road favorites for the clash against a team that picked up its second win of the season on Sunday against the Denver Broncos.

The Eagles open up as favorites yet again, but this is an intriguing line. Being favored nearly a touchdown 5 points on the road is a heft statement, but it doesn’t feel hefty enough. Zach Wilson was hardly brilliant in the win over Denver, with Breece Hall’s 177-yard game doing most of the heavy lifting. Will he find that same success against an Eagles team that ranks 1st in run defense?

The Eagles are still dealing with cluster injuries in the secondary and that’s concerning with Garrett Wilson looking to take advantage of those holes. However, Sean Desai did a great job at adjusting to the Rams’ offense and silenced the likes of both Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua in the second half, helping the Eagles soar to a 5-0 record.

New York does still have a rampant defense that has to be respected, but it ranks 28th against the run which could open the doors for a huge day from D’Andre Swift. The Eagles matchup well with the AFC outfit and should be well poised to come away with their sixth consecutive win of the season.

A 5-0 start for the Super Bowl runners-up is an ideal way to start the year and defeating the Jets would go a long way in bolstering their Super Bowl hopes, especially with the Cowboys now two games back of the reigning NFC East Champs.

As far as the NFL Week 6 odds go, it all looks sunny in Philadelphia.
