Top-5 Dolphins vs Patriots prop bets
Mike Gesicki over 14.5 receiving yards -120
The Pats passing offense was hard to read last week outside of Kendrick Bourne becoming the go-to guy in the offense. New England is fielding a pair of dynamic tight ends in Hunter Henry and Mike Gesicki and as a result, their receiving totals are extremely low. It’s hard to predict which will be the most prominent target at the moment, but that gives us an edge in what will be a revenge game for the former Dolphins tight end.
The Chargers had their TE duo combine for 43 yards in the season opener against Miami, and the Pats might well follow suit. Backing Gesicki to essentially record more than 2 receptions worth of passing feels like a strong play in Dolphins vs Patriots.

Jaylen Waddle OVER 69.5 receiving yards +120
The Dolphins looked exceptional during the opening week of the season. Tua sliced his way through the Chargers and Tyreek Hill put up 215 yards worth of receiving. Jaylen Waddle still added 78 to that total, highlighting his upside. He also averaged 79.8 yards per game during his 2022 breakout campaign and the Patriots hardly have the most exceptional secondary in the league.
Tyreek’s total is inflated, so grab the value on an overlooked Jaylen Waddle while it’s still there. A line of 69.5 in Dolphins vs Patriots feels like a steal.

Xavien Howard To record 2.5+ tackles -110
The dominant cornerback had 6 tackles in week 1 and passed this total 9 times last season. The Pats know that the Dolphins have an elite secondary, and as a result are bound to approach the game in the same way they did Week 1’s loss to Philadelphia – a lot of curls, comebacks, and routes designed to pick up yards after the catch. This should afford Howard plenty of opportunities to wrap up receivers on shorter routes and easily pass this total.
Ezekiel Elliott OVER 24.5 rushing yards -120
Elliott’s presence in the Pats backfield was certainly a needed one, although he didn’t have much luck against the Eagles. Even so, he did still pick up 29 yards against his former NFC East rival. Stevenson is still the more elusive and explosive option, but as a change-of-pace back, especially against a stern Dolphins front, Elliott is bound to be leaned on early and often.
24.5 yards feels like a modest total in Dolphins vs Patriots.
Kendrick Bourne anytime TD +210
Mac Jones might have found a new favorite weapon in week 1, and it surprisingly wasn’t JuJu Smith-Schuster. Kendrick Bourne put on a receiving clinic against a weakened Eagles secondary and while this matchup is bound to be tougher, it will also likely force Jones to lean on receivers he’s familiar with. Bourne instilled a ton of confidence in week 1 and feels like a lock to feature heavily in this offense against the Dolphins.
