NFL Week 1 is finally here which means it’s time to juice up those parlays. We’ve picked 5 NFL game lines this weekend worth betting on their own, but if you do fancy throwing them into a parlay, they give odds of +2435!
NFL Week 1: Philadelphia Eagles -3.5 vs New England Patriots
Yes, the Patriots at home and it’s Tom Brady night. What we’re forgetting is that they have a banged-up offensive line trying to protect Mac Jones from arguably the most dominant front in all of football. They’ll score points thanks to a flurry of new offensive weapons and a solid backfield, but winning a shootout against Jalen Hurts and THAT offense? It’s not viable if Jones is being knocked off his perch time and time again as he seeks out longer throws.

NFL week 1: Atlanta Falcons -3.5 vs Carolina Panthers
This is a new era in Atlanta. Bijan Robinson is set for a debut of dreams against a Carolina run defense that ranked in the bottom third of the NFL last season. He also joins an offense that has undergone quite the rejuvenation.
The Panthers have a rookie quarterback and a depleted receiving corps because of various injuries. It comes up against an Atlanta defense that now features the likes of Jessie Bates and Calais Campbell. Sprinkle in some home-field advantage flakes and you have more than enough reasons to back the Falcons in week 1.

NFL week 1: Jacksonville Jaguars -4.5 vs Indianapolis Colts
Trevor Lawrence is favored to be the next QB to take a ‘Jalen Hurts-esque’ leap and with good reason. All of the foundations laid in 2022 look primed to be built upon and he now has Calvin Ridley at his disposal.
The Colts have a rookie head coach and a rookie quarterback. As intense as Anthony Richardson’s work ethic appears to be, it’s a tough task to unseat a Jags team with that much young potential on the roster. The Jaguars should cover here.
NFL Week1: Pittsburgh Steelers +2.5 vs San Francisco 49ers
A hobbled George Kittle, a fairly poor quarterback facing a stiff defense, and Nick Bosa playing his first competitive action after a holdout? The Steelers are hardly the most electrifying offense in the world, but San Fran has a new DC which could bring some natural teething problems. Pittsburgh should be able to keep Purdy quiet and if the Niners can’t put up points, the Steelers can cover easily.

NFL Week 1: Washington Commanders -4.5 vs Arizona Cardinals
We don’t know who is starting at quarterback for the Cardinals (somehow) and Jonathan Gannon’s Michael Scott impersonation is going to be exposed by the Commanders of all teams. Sam Howell should have some upside under Eric Bienemy and I’d much rather back a team finding its identity than one that is spiralling into chaos.
