Pitching matchup
Christopher Sanchez (0-3, 3.26 ERA) vs Colin Rea (5-4, 4.71 ERA)
The Phillies are sending their fifth-starter to the mound to battle Colin Rea. Sanchez has been pretty impressive this season and has only allowed 4 runs over his last 2 games. He surprisingly was only able to strike out 2 batters against the Rays, but bounced back in his most recent start against Miami and knocked down 5, which is about his average. He should have an easier day at the office today.
Rea has had a rollercoaster season up to this point but has struggled in July, giving up 3 home runs across 2 games along with a 5.56 ERA. Given how explosive the Phils offense can be, this could be another tricky game for Rea to navigate.

Phillies vs Brewers Betting preview
As far as some logical props go, there is some value to be had. While yesterday’s Bryce Harper home run bet didn’t land, he did record a hit. He’s now done so in 43 games this season, which is actually more games than the Phils have lost all year. He’s also scored a run 30 times. Against a wobbling Rea, I like Harper to record a run at -120.
Elsewhere, I like Sanchez to strike out over 4.5 Brewers at -110. Milwaukee’s offense is very beatable and we’re still yet to see Sanchez even slightly regress.
In terms of game lines, I do like the OVER here. This could become a bullpen game pretty quickly and the Phils can score in buckets when needed.
