The Philadelphia Eagles released their schedule in the most wholesome way imaginable last week, but all eyes now turn to week 1 and a clash with the New England Patriots. It’s always interesting to see how Vegas prices NFL teams at this stage in the offseason and looking at their projected win total is a great way to try and find some value.

The Birds saw their win total open up at 11.5 this season, meaning that Vegas is projecting Philadelphia to win around 11 games this season.

If you think they’ll win more than that, you can bet on over 11.5. If they win 12+ games, your wager will be doubled. If they win 11 or less, you lose. The same applies for betting the under. If you think the Eagles will win less than 11.5 games and they win 12, your bet would lose. But if they won anywhere between 0-11, your winnings would be double whatever you wagered.

Given how tough the 2023 NFL schedule is for the Philadelphia Eagles, a total of 11.5 wins does seem quite steep. However, this is still one of the most dominant teams in the NFC and is of course coming off of a Super Bowl berth.

As intimidating as the Eagles’ schedule might be, 12 wins does seem attainable:

Let’s start with the obvious contenders for ‘easy wins’:

Washington Commanders (x2)
New York Giants (probably split the series)
Dallas Cowboys (probably split the series)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Los Angeles Rams
Arizona Cardinals

That’s around 7 depending on how the NFC East shakes out.

The ‘Maybe’s?’

New York Jets ft. Aaron Rodgers.
A New England Patriots defense at home
The Minnesota Vikings (should be a win but you never know)
Miami Dolphins
San Francisco 49ers
Seattle Seahawks (in Seattle)

If the Eagles can win 3-4 of these games, that moves them to approximately 10 wins.

The ‘probably not’s but you never know’

Buffalo Bills
Kansas City Chiefs

A conservative approach to forecasting how many wins the Eagles will get this season would likely sit at around 9. An aggressive approach would involve 14-15. I could absolutely see the Eagles getting over that crucial 11.5 number this year and if you’re of a similar mindset, there are some amazing betting offers to take advantage of.

Instead of betting $20 on the Eagles to secure over 11.5 wins, you can place that same bet with a new sportsbook and get some HUGE free bets in return!

For instance, FanDuel gives you up to $150 in bonus bets when you wager $5. This means that if you placed $5 on the Eagles to win more than 11.5 games this season, FanDuel will give you $150 to bet with FOR FREE.
