Seahawks vs 49ers: Building the ultimate parlay

The Seahawks and 49ers will renew their rivalry in the heart of the NFL playoffs with what promises to be an exciting game.

There are plenty of lenses to view this weekend through from a betting perspective, but building a Parlay is where the fun really lies. This NFL week 18 +4000 Parlay looks like great value going into Saturday’s game.

Seahawks vs 49ers Parlay odds: +4000

Leg 1: Christian McCaffrey under 79.5 rushing yards

Christian McCaffrey is the obvious choice for anyone looking for a Niners prop bet, but if you can fade the public consensus, that’s where the value lies.

Elijah Mitchell has 30 yards in each of his last 4 games, and with horrible weather conditions coming, it would be easy to foresee Shanahan wanting to give his rookie QB a reliable checkdown option. This may force McCaffrey out wide or to essentially become a release valve for Purdy. We know the Niners like to be dynamic on offense and there’s no player more lethal as a receiving back than C-Mac.

He’ll still be a lethal factor in this game, but I think he’ll have more impact as a receiving back. A pivot here would be to bet the over on his receiving yards (34.5 yards -155).

Leg 2: Geno Smith under 224 passing yards

Geno Smith has been a really pleasant surprise this year, but he’s still been limited as a passer at times. In fact, he’s thrown under 224 yards in each of his last 3 games. Blindly betting under 224 yards this season would’ve landed you with an 8-9 record, which shows you this is pretty much his average line.

The Niners defense is a force to be reckoned with and it’s more likely that they try to get creative with Kenneth Walker, than it is they let Geno Smith try to keep pace with one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL. Let Walker chip away 2-3 yards at a time, and control the pace of the game.

Leg 3: Darrell Taylor over 1 sack

The Seahawks defense definitely isn’t the unit it once was, but Darrell Taylor has been absolutely dominant this year. With 9.5 sacks on the season, Taylor has 6.5 in his last 6 games alone. He’s clearly thriving right now and with rookie QB’s often struggling in the playoffs, he’ll be licking his lips as far as sacks are concerned. He should comfortably get to Purdy, a fairly sturdy pocket QB who doesn’t possess a ton of mobility, at least once.

Leg 4: Kenneth Walker/George Kittle anytime TD

You can add both if you want, or you can pick your poison. Both are +155 to score anytime and you can absolutely make valid arguments for each choice.

If you do add both, the slip jumps to +4000! Adding one moves it to +1200, so it’s a low-risk, high-reward decision if you wanted to go from rags to riches this weekend.

Kittle has often been quiet in the playoffs, but he has 5 touchdowns through his last 3 games and there’s no doubting that Brock Purdy will be looking for his security blanket early and often.

As for Walker, he’s become the heartbeat of the Seahawks offense. With the conditions favoring a rushing-based attack, it would hardly be surprising to see Walker really being used with assertion down inside the 10 as opposed to risking passes.
