Last week, we went 2-2 in our college football bets, which means we’re sitting at 19-9 over the last seven weeks. We’ll try to end the two-month run strong with just three bets this week since we have a smaller slate of conference championship games.
There are plenty of strong betting games on this slate, and below are my college football best bets for Week 14.

North Texas vs. UTSA
Friday, December 2nd at 7:30 on CBS Sports Network
Nine points is a lot to get in a conference championship game, especially since UTSA won the first meeting 31-27 when they scored with just 15 seconds on the clock. In fact, these teams are 5-5 against each other over their last 10 meetings, so this feels like more of a toss-up than the line would suggest.
UTSA was able to capture the Conference USA title last year, so they shouldn’t be nervous in this spot, but I don’t think we’re going to see the same run-game disparity we saw in the first meeting when UTSA rushed for 257 yards and held North Texas to just 22 rushing yards. The Mean Green will have adjusted and should capitalize on a Roadrunners defense that allows 149.5 rushing yards per game.
I think this should be a back-and-forth affair that will end with a North Texas cover, but I also think the over is a pretty solid bet if you think UTSA continues it’s run of dominant play.

Utah vs USC
Friday, December 2nd at 8:00 on FOX
This is closing to -2.5 or -2 in some places, so I would try to hop on Utah at -3 while you can.
The 4th-ranked Trojans are coming into this game trying to lock up a spot in the College Football Playoff and also avenge their 43-42 overtime loss to the Utes on October 15th. In that game, Caleb Williams led USC to 556 yards of offense on over eight yards a play. They got whatever they wanted, but they also couldn’t stop anything.
USC will now be without star running back Travis Dye, which will hurt them, even though Austin Jones has been playing well in his place.
The key in this game will be Utah stopping Caleb Williams. They pressured him 19 times in the first game, and they also have a secondary that ranks 23rd in the nation by Pro Football Focus coverage grade and 16th in expected points added per pass.
With USC’s defense continuing to be pretty poor, I think Utah and Cam Rising will be able to score regularly to at least keep this game close, if not steal a win.

Coastal Carolina vs. Troy
Saturday, December 3rd at 3:30 on ESPN
For me, this really comes down to Coastal Carolina not having Grayson McCall at quarterback. Without him, they were atrocious against James Madison, scoring just seven points. Troy is better than James Madison. When you pair that with the slow pace of play that Coastal Carolina runs and the fact that Troy made the championship game because of their defense, I just don’t see how this game can be high scoring.
