Ecuador need a win here for that campaign to continue, and the former West Ham man should be a focal point of attacks once again here if he does play. He was stretchered off in their recent 1-1 draw and while it’s hopeful he will return, losing his poaching services here would be a big blow.
It’s times like this that Senegal will be devastated to not have Sadio Mane in their ranks, who has missed this World Cup due to injury. They’ve been able to survive without his attacking prowess though, thanks largely to a relentless CB pairing of Koulibaly and Diallo. Valencia will have his work cut out for him trying to find the back of the net.
