Another week of NFL football has come and gone and the Philadelphia Eagles remain undefeated. The NFC is ripe for the taking but the other conference has plenty of questions. Browns vs Bengals will headline Monday Night Football in an attempt to at least answer a couple of those after a pair of disappointing starts.

Browns vs Bengals betting preview
The main worry for the Browns here is the rise of Joe Burrow. After a terrible start to the year, he’s bounced back sharply, completing nearly 70% of his passes and throwing a 15-5 TD-INT ratio. He decimated the Falcons through the air last week to the tune of 481 yards and 3 touchdowns. Cleveland is giving up the 3rd most points per game of any team in the NFL and the most over the last 3 weeks. Burrow and that offense should be primed for a strong outing.
The Browns will have to hang their hat on Nick Chubb. Jacoby Brissett is who he’s always been – a smart game-managing quarterback but someone who is unable to consistently move the chains enough to win shootouts. Chubb, meanwhile, leads the NFL in rushing with 740 yards and 8 touchdowns. The good news is that the Bengals are only allowing 87 rushing yards per game, one of the top marks in the NFL and gives us a very strong betting angle.
Browns vs Bengals betting pick
Joe Burrow against this defense is a salivating matchup. Nick Chubb being suffocated to a point where Brissett has to pass? Something tells me that the spread being a lonely 3 points here is way too low. I’m happy to back the Bengals -3 safe in the knowledge that they have all the tools needed to eliminate the few strengths that this Browns roster possesses.
