A primetime game WITHOUT Russell Wilson?! What sort of wizardry is this? Kyler Murray and the Cardinals will host the banged up New Orleans Saints for this week’s Thursday Night Football clash.

Cardinals vs Saints betting preview

The Cardinals might be the most underwhelming team in the entire league this season, but it’s not like they’re playing world-beaters here. The Saints have battled injuries and quarterback inconsistencies, and only have two wins themselves. Whether it’s Andy Dalton or Jameis Winston taking snaps at quarterback, it’s not going to matter if their defense plays anything like it has over the last few weeks.

The Saints are expected to be without Jarvis Landry and Michael Thomas, and maybe even Chris Olave at receiver…so like, the entire group. On defense, Marshon Lattimore is going to miss this game which provides a massive for Kyler Murray to let his band of backup receivers really attack that back end.

This game is a lot less to do with what the Cardinals are and more to do with what the Saints are not. They’re not healthy, they’re not playing well, and they’re not playing at home. If the defense is going to give up 25+ points each week, the offense has to be able to score more (naturally). With QB woes and a missing receiving room, I just can’t see them finding a way to keep up with the Cardinals offense here. I’m backing Arizona.
