Every year is someone’s year in the NFL. Sometimes, it’s those you expect; sometimes, it isn’t. Read on for our assessment of the 22/23 season.

At the beginning of every season, there are predictions. Be they from professional commentators, ex-professionals, or armchair fans, some you will nod along to, understanding that there’s a chance that they come true, and others you’ll dismiss vehemently. Emotional and physical reactions to predictions aren’t uncommon. It’s personal. In some way, the players and teams who are predicted to soar and fall represent you

There are certain reliable performers, though. Either historically consistent players like Tom Brady, who returned after a brief flirt with retirement, or those relatively new to the scene who seem assured of continued performance, like Joe Burrow. Irrespective, there will always be doubters. And, indeed, there will always be surprises. This extends to every week of the season when each gameweek comes around. We’ll go to read weekly expert NFL predictions to support our stances or be open to new ideas and information. That’s the beauty of predictions – you never know until you know.

So, read or repel as we go through who we expect to be the top players among positions.
