The Colorado Avalanche go into game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals looking to extend their series lead to 3-0. The pressure is mounting for the Tampa Bay Lightning, but they play tonight’s game with home ice on their side for the first time this series. If you’re looking to bet behind either team tonight, Caesars Sportsbook is offering first-time bettors a risk-free bet worth $1500 just for signing up!
This offer is targeted at the kind of bettor who wants to bet big to win bigger. You could bet $20 and if the bet loses, get a $20 free bet to use. Caesars are carrying this all the way up to the value of $1500, so you can bet as much as you want on that first bet, knowing full well that if it loses, you’ll receive a free bet worth that same value. It’s a really strong offer and one that you’d struggle to match in terms of value.
How to claim this exclusive Stanley Cup offer
- CLICK HERE or click the button below to register for Caesars Casino
- Deposit up to $1500 into your Caesars Casino account using any of the deposit methods.
- Wager that value and if the bet loses, receive a free bet of the exact same value!
It’s rare to see an offer this large being handed out by a sportsbook, so even if you just fancy a $10 flutter, the fact there’s no risk of losing that money should really incentivize you to trial out a sportsbook that has recently acquired William Hill. Caesars clearly aren’t afraid of investing in their platform to deliver a better product, and have no issue investing in their customers as well.
Betting preview for game 3 of the 2022 Stanley Cup Finals
The Lightning were blown out in game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals. A 7-0 defeat is just humiliating in every regard. Cale Makar and Valeri Nichushkin both netted two goals, while Mikko Rantanen assisted three times. One has to wonder what that would do for the confidence of Andrei Vasilevskiy, who gave up all seven goals, the most in any playoff game of his career.
Is this a good spot to bet the Lightning? Vasilevskiy is the reigning Conn Smythe winner and led the NHL in wins this season with 39. We saw a highly uncharacteristic performance from him in game 2 and now playing on home ice, we should expect a much better showing.
The Avs were just too quick and too much for Tampa Bay through the opening two games. If you’re looking for a reason to be bullish on the Lightning, it comes down to home ice.
Prop watch
Nathan MacKinnon has 11 goals this postseason (2nd in the NHL) and 9 assists. He’s bound to be a force to be reckoned with throughout the remainder of the series. Betting on him to record 2+ Points could be a really strong play here.
