The NFL Draft is finally upon us. Months of scouting and preparation all lead up to this. Howie Roseman and the Philadelphia Eagles go into the weekend with 10 picks at their disposal. It promises to be a wild ride, so what’s the best way to keep up?

When is the NFL Draft?

  • Thursday, April 28th, 8PM EST Round 1
  • Friday, April 29th, 7PM EST: Rounds 2-3
  • Saturday, April 30th, 12PM EST : Rounds 4-7

The Draft will be broadcast across multiple channels. The NFL Network will provide unprecedented coverage, but it isn’t available to everyone. ESPN and ABC will provide cable coverage for those unable to access NFL Network.

On top of that, we at Philly Sports Network will be streaming the entire Draft. Our team of Eagles writers will be live on our YouTube channel with giveaways, analysis, and plenty of chaos throughout the weekend. It’s by far our favorite event of the year and involves plenty of interaction with YOU! So grab a beer, get some wings, pitch in, and enjoy the Draft with us!

How can I prepare for the NFL Draft?

First off, a quick run to the store to ensure you have plenty of snacks, meals, coffee, energy drinks, and beverages so that you don’t have to leave all weekend! Once that’s sorted, you can check out our coverage here:

We will have instant analysis for every pick and a summary after each day on top of our stream coverage, so make sure you stay locked in.

What picks do the Eagles have?

Round 1 – 15, 18 (from New Orleans)

Round 2 – 51

Round 3 – 83, 101 (New Orleans)

Round 4 – 124

Round 5 – 154 (Washington), 162166 (Arizona)

Round 7 – 237 (New Orleans)

What are the team’s biggest needs?

Pretty much any position at this point. It would be hard for Howie to draft a player and it not fill an immediate hole. But ideally, the Eagles need to find some long-term stability along the defensive line, while adding a marauding safety, a future CB1, and probably a viable replacement for Jalen Reagor. That sounds simple enough…right?
