2022 three-star shooting guard AJ Brown’s stock continues to rise. The Orlando Christian Prep SG is currently the 188th ranked prospect, 28th at his position, and 22nd prospect in Florida for 24/7 sports. Brown can score with the best of them. He stands 6-4, 170 lbs and is one of those prospects that will always be one of the best players on the court. Last season, Brown averaged 14.3 points 3.4 rebounds while shooting 54% from the field, 42% from long range, and 82% from the free throw line.

Leader: How was your visit to Penn State?

AJ: My visit to Penn State was great. It gave me a better feel for the school and I really loved how the coaches welcomed me and treated me as well. Their facilities are off the chain and even their school city is beautiful!

Leader: You have been really impressive in AAU play. What do you feel was your best game?

AJ: I think my stats were probably 25 pts, 4 asts, 7rebs against Bmaze Elite.

Leader: Recently, 2022 Penn State commit Kanye Clary told me you are a guy he wants to recruit to Penn State. Have you two had a chance to talk? How do you feel about playing with him?

AJ: Yes, we talked, and I think we can coexist and play with each other and make a big impact for Penn State. With him at the 1 and me at the 2 I can definitely see us taking Penn State places.

Leader: Who is the toughest prospect you have played this year? What makes him tough? What were your stats in that game?

AJ: The toughest prospect I’ve played this year was Emoni Bates and what makes him tough is just how he scores the ball at a high level. My stats in that game were 15 pts, 4 asts, 5 rebs, 2 stls.

Leader: What makes you a better player this year? What have you worked on that scouts will see?

AJ: What makes me a better player is just my knowledge and maturity of the game. I improved on my shot and also my defense. Those two things are great to show college coaches so you can let them know that you are reliable on both sides of the court.

Leader: What visits have impressed you the most? What teams are recruiting you the hardest?

AJ: I have only been on the Penn State visit and it was great. Teams that are recruiting the hardest are Temple, Penn St, Yale, Ohio, Drake, Iona, USF, Buffalo, Drake, Penn, and Georgia St.

Leader: What new schools have started to show interest?

AJ: New schools that have started to show interest were Clemson, Vanderbilt, VCU, Rice, Coastal Carolina, and Murray St.

Leader: What visits do you have scheduled coming up?

AJ: I don’t have any scheduled at the moment but I plan on scheduling some more towards after the July live period.

Leader: What type of offense would you like to play in?

AJ: I prefer transition but I can fit into any playing style honestly.

Leader Who are your top teams right now?

AJ: My top teams are Penn St, Temple, Yale, Ohio, Iona and USF.

Leader: What is your timeline for a commitment?

AJ: I plan on committing before the start of my senior year high school basketball season.
