The 2020 season was one of frustration for Eagles CB Cre’Von LeBlanc. After being shockingly released and re-signed by the team ahead of week one with no prior warning or guarantee he’d return, he endured a season-ending injury. Every cloud has a silver lining, however, and while his energy may not be present on the field, it’s certainly visible away from it.

Cre’Von has released a music video under the alias ‘Strap’ (obviously) and I don’t know how this slipped through the cracks, but it slaps.

The former Chicago Bear even referenced his quarterback in the song:

‘ I had em leave the zone, bitch I feel like Carson Wentz .If it don’t make money then it don’t make sense.’

If that’s not a reason to check it out, I don’t know what is.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen LeBlanc flex his vocal talents. He’s occasionally hosted IG Live’s where he’s freestyled. One of those sessions was captured by teammate Joshua Perkins.

This is immediately approximately 49x better than whatever Antonio Brown tried to put out, according to Pro NFL Rap focus.

‘Strap’ burst onto the scene in 2018, giving up the lowest NFL passer rating (80.4), and the lowest yards allowed per snap (1.11) across his 304 snaps, before exploding in the postseason.

A Lisfranc injury would rip 2019 away from him, but the Eagles paid him regardless. He then returned at a crucial part of the season and was a huge reason the team were able to fend off the New York Giants after putting in a truly ridiculous performance where he helped negate the play of Saquon Barkley.

After the injury bug struck once again in 2020, the future is now uncertain as a pending free agent. Whatever it holds, it looks like he has a promising career ahead of him away from the gridiron.
