Help is finally on the way! The Eagles have been ravaged by injuries all season long but it looks as though fortunes are finally beginning to change for the better. The team’s injury report ahead of a clash with the Giants reads like this:

The Bye week has certainly been kind to the Eagles. Believe it or not…the team are *checks notes* healthy?

Lead running back Miles Sanders will return to action this week after picking up an injury in the loss to Baltimore. Prior to that, he had back-to-back games where he amassed a 74-yard rush. That breakaway ability will be huge against a Giants team that has struggled to contain Eagles running backs for quite some time.

Jason Peters and Lane Johnson will both be back this weekend as well, meaning the offensive line blocking for Sanders is the healthiest it has been since week one. If Isaac Seumalo is back too, the Eagles will be boasting a line that is as close to 2019 as we’ve seen all year. Great news.

Malik Jackson and Fletcher Cox both being green-flagged is huge on the other side of the ball, especially against an offense that ranks last in QB pressures. Jackson has been a wrecking ball this season and Cox is finding his form of old.

WR Alshon Jeffery will feature in the offense this week. Doug Pederson stated that he has a plan for the wideout who has missed 11 months with a Lisfranc injury, but it’s unclear how much game time he will actually see.

The best part? There isn’t even any bad news!

The Eagles come soaring out of the bye week with a refreshed sense of health. Whether or not they can make it count is another debate entirely.
