Report: Eagles WR Jalen Reagor will miss the start of 2020 season

The Eagles’ final scrimmage practice of Training Camp ended with a thud. First-round pick Jalen Reagor sustained an upper-body injury after Avonte Maddox broke up a pass.

The good news is, the injury doesn’t appear to be overly serious. The bad news is, he could well miss the opening few weeks of the season.

With the season set to start on the 13th of September, we can assume that he’d at least miss the opening two games (Washington & L.A) with hopes of returning in week 3 against Cinncinati.

This is obviously a huge blow, but it’s not the end of the world. DeSean Jackson will still be the starting Z receiver and it means that summer standout John Hightower will likely see a bump up the depth chart.

The summer has not been kind to an Eagles team who will already be without last year’s first-round selection. They will now have to be very cautious with their TCU wide receiver who looked set to play a major role as soon as the first ball was kicked off the tee.

Fans will have to wait a little longer to get their first taste of the Eagles’ shiniest new receiver playing in midnight green.
