Let’s meet the Philadelphia Freedoms of World Team Tennis

As sports make their return and attempt to get things back to normal, another Philadelphia team will get back into game action this week.

The Philadelphia Freedoms will join the Chicago Smash, New York Empire, Orange County Breakers, Orlando Storm, San Diego Aviators, Springfield Lasers, Vegas Rollers, and Washington Kastles at The Greenbrier “America’s Resort” in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia to get their 2020 season going.

Let’s take a look at who will be representing the Philadelphia Freedoms during the 2020 season

Coach Craig Kardon– entering his 10th year as Head Coach of the Freedoms

The 2020 roster will have some fan favorites that the Freedoms fans have know the last couple of years in Fabrice Martin, Taylor Townsend & Donald Young

There are 3 new members to World Team Tennis and are as follows:

Caroline Dolehide– Making her debut in World Team Tennis & 1st time with the Freedoms

Taylor Fritz– Member of the USA Davis Cup team in 2019 & 2020 & this is the first season with the Freedoms

Sofia Kenin– Won the 2020 Australian Open & making her debut with the Freedoms.
