As we’re all sitting inside and quarantining, it looks like Bobby Webster, the General Manager of the Toronto Raptors, could be making some calls to Elton Brand.

There have been no other talks about this rumor other than a few tweets. There also has been no talks about who the Sixers would be giving up on their end of the deal, either. The only other subject of discussion was Ben Simmons, going to the Warriors in a three-team deal.

Kyle Lowry, former Villanova standout, has been a staple in the Raptors’ lineup since being traded by Houston in 2012. The 6-time all star and NBA champion has averaged 18.5 points per game while shooting 38% from three.

To replace their starting point guard, the Raptors are eyeing up LaMelo Ball, one of the top prospects in this draft.

Ben Simmons should stay in a Sixers’ uniform for the entirety of his career. Let me repeat- Ben Simmons should stay in Philly. People need to stop trying to break him and Embiid apart.

However, is there any chance that Lowry would end up in his hometown in a different packaged deal?
