Only 8 days left! 8 days until the new crop comes into Philadelphia. We’ve covered the 2009 draft where LeSean McCoy was the cream of the crop. Yesterday, we talked about Brandon Graham being the headliner of the 2010 draft. Now we’re onto the 2011 draft where Jason Kelce was the sole player to actually last as an Eagle.

Kelce has turned into one of the best centers in the league, if not the best. He’s become the heart and soul of not only the offense but of the city of Philadelphia. His confidence in speaking his mind without a worry following has shined throughout the last couple of years. Especially in his iconic Super Bowl parade speech.

Kelce went from being a defensive lineman in college to being drafted at the 191st pick. Now at the age of 32 years old, Jason is making his claim for the hall of fame. Why not? It can’t be that farfetched of an idea. Kelce has been named an All-Pro for the third year in a row. He’s also the only center in the last 35 years to be named an All-Pro and win a championship.

Kelce wasn’t always a standout in his career as it took quite some time for the world to notice his talents. His ability to get down the field with his speed on run blocks to maintaining the pocket clean is second to none at this point in his career. While Kelce may be contemplating retirement at this point, the Eagles have found a true all-time great in the sixth round of the 2011 draft.

And who could ever forget THIS?
