Over the past 24 hours, the sporting world has been flipped on its head. The NCAA has canceled the March Madness tournament, the MLB has suspended spring training and will be pushing back opening day, and the NBA, NHL, MLS, and NLL have all went on a hiatus. Earlier, the city of Philadelphia placed a six-month ban per Mayor Jim Kenney on all events with over 1000 attendees. In a statement, the Wells Fargo Center said Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia 76ers, and Philadelphia Wings will be postponed until further notice. Here is the full statement from Comcast Spectacor regarding the Wells Fargo Center events:

As a precaution of the Coronavirus, the Wells Fargo Center is undergoing cleaning and sanitization today. This is the initial step of the quarantine process. All non-essential Wells Fargo Center employees are working from home. With the Philadelphia Wings to play the New York Riptide this Sunday, the game may be rescheduled and tickets will be honored or refunded. As always, health and safety take priority.

This is all Philadelphia centric, but according to the NLL, there is not a timeframe set for the season to resume. It’s smart for the NLL to follow suit with leagues like the NBA. Recently, Utah Jazz players Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell tested positive for Coronavirus. If the seasons are to resume, it’s still left to wonder if games will be played with no fans in attendance. Season ticket holders for NLL teams are told to keep their tickets as they will be honored with any remaining games if the season continues.
