Brooklyn NY: The eyes of the boxing world will be on Brooklyn, New York for a very interesting battle. Former two time champion Danny Garcia from Philadelphia takes on Ivan Redkach in a 12-round WBC welterweight title eliminator. Danny Garcia has a record of 35-2 (21 Kos) and in his last fight, Garcia won by KO of Adrian Granados in March 2019. His opponent Ivan Redkach comes into battle with 23-4-1 (18 KOs) and off a KO win over Devon Alexander in June 2019.

During their media workout, both fighters said the following

Danny Garcia:
This is a very important fight for me and my future. My future starts on Saturday night. I’ve already been in a lot of big fights in my career, so it’s nothing new to me. I know Redkach is hungry, but I know what it
takes to win on this level and I’m hungry. I feel like I have unfinished business here in Brooklyn. This is my house and I plan on making a statement in front of my fans on Saturday”

Ivan Redkach:
The biggest weakness I see in Danny is that he’s not taking this seriously. He’s counting on this as a tune-up fight, and that’s a big mistake. This is not going to be a tune-up fight for him

Also on the card, you have another Philly fighter in Stephen Fulton who is 17-0 with 8 knockouts.

Staredown after the Weigh In
