The Eagles took care of business against the New York Giants on Sunday, earning them their second NFC East title in three years…but it came at a price.

Franchise right guard Brandon Brooks was carted off the field during the game and it was revealed on monday morning that he will miss the remainder of the season. The Pro-Bowler sustained a separated shoulder with more damage and will need surgery.

This is a huge blow to the Eagles, who were without Lane Johnson this week. TCU’s Matt Pryor stepped in for Brooks when he went down and his first-ever NFL start is going to be a playoff game against a rampant Seahawks D-line. The stakes could not be higher.

Elsewhere, DE Daeshon Hall reportedly tore his ACL on the final snap of the game and will subsequently be out of action. We may see some snaps for rookie DE Shareef Miller if the Eagles feel the need to bolster the rotation.

The good news is that Miles Sanders is believed to be okay after an injury scare, along with Avonte Maddox. The Boston Bus may be rolling, but having Sanders in the fold is integral to the success of the offense at this point.

DeSean Jackson can’t be activated until the second round of the playoffs, but is trending in the right direction. So as of right now, he’s still unavailable to the team, but if they can find a way to beat Seattle, the questions will rise.
