After a week of uncertainty, there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel for the Philadelphia Eagles.

The team released their final injury report ahead of their clash with the 2-9 Miami Dolphins and there is plenty of reason for optimism.

Both Nelson Agholor and Alshon Jeffery were full participants on Friday and are expected to play on Sunday, which is huge for an offense that looked lifeless without the pair just one week ago. The pair have combined for 6 touchdowns on the season and 675 receiving yards and while both have been deserving of criticism as of late, their return is crucial for the run-game, taking weight off of Carson Wentz, and eradicating as many errors as possible.

Lane Johnson will return to his RT spot on Sunday and Jason Peters to his LT position. This in itself is absolutely massive, with there now being no pressure on Andre Dillard to step in after being pulled from a right tackle experiment last week.

Zach Ertz and Jordan Howard were limited and if Ertz is unable to go, expect Joshua Perkins to fill the currently vacated 53rd roster spot via practice squad promotion.

Ertz has been the team’s leading receiver this year and has been the one constant in a flailing offense. Missing him would be a huge loss, but verging on the side of caution makes sense here. The Eagles have 3 games against teams with just 2 wins on the season as things stand, so making sure he’s healthy for the big showdown against Dallas would make sense.

As for Howard, if his stinger injury keeps him out for another week, that’s a cause for concern. It will be interesting to see if Ajayi will see an increased role against is former team, should Howard be sidelined.
