The free agency carousel is picking up speed. Philadelphia announced the signings of two more unrestricted free agents on Monday afternoon, here’s all you need to know.

Chris Bigras (two-year, two-way contract)

Bigras was allowed to walk out of the New York Rangers without an offer after becoming a reliable blueliner for their AHL affiliate last year, tallying 22 points in 52 games. Involved in the trade that sent Ryan Graves to the Avalanche, Bigras set a new career-high for points and assists at age 23.

In 37 games last year, the former first-round pick tallied 19 points, 14 of which came at even strength. Bigras could be a developmental piece to watch for the Flyers in an offseason of veteran acquisitions.

Kyle Criscuolo (one-year, two-way contract)

A former undrafted free agent, Criscuolo has a very strong AHL background, most recently scoring 20 points for the Rochester American’s, having scored 34 in the season before that. The 27-year old forward should be able to bring a selfless mentality and plenty of assists to the Phantoms.
