Instant Analysis: The Flyers Select Bryce Brodzinski in Round 7

With the 196th-overall pick in the NHL Entry Draft, the Philadelphia Flyers took right-winger, Bryce Brodzinski, from the Omaha Lancers of the USHL.

Brodzinski experienced most of his success playing high school hockey for Blaine High in Minnesota. He played in 23 games for Blaine High and recorded a whopping 76 points. Additionally, he played 19 games in the USHL and posted 17 points.

Although he’s a seventh-round pick, Brodzinski comes with loads of potential. He will begin the next step of his hockey career with the University of Minnesota next season.

Seventh-round picks are always tough to gauge. Still, Flyers fans will want to keep an eye on Brodzinski next season.
