An in-depth look at the prospects who worked out for Sixers pre-draft

The 2019 NBA Draft is just around the corner, taking place tomorrow at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. New Orleans hold the number 1 pick, but there’s plenty of speculation surrounding what the Sixers will do with the 24th pick.

Here’s a look at who the Philadelphia 76ers have brought in for Pre-draft workouts.

May 20:

The featured player during the workout was Guard Ky Bowman from Boston College. He played 98 games over 3 years, averaging 16.9 PPG with 6.4 TRB & 3.9 AST. During the 2018-19 season, Bowman avg 19 PPG, 7.5 TRB & 4 AST. His highest point total was 44 against Hartford on December 31, 2018.

June 3:

The headline player from this group is Forward-Guard Terry Harris from North Carolina A&T, Harris the brother of Sixers Tobias Harris. Harris played 76 games, 5.3 PPG, his highest point total was 27 points against Presbyterian in December 2018.

June 5:

The featured player in this group is Guard Carsen Edwards from Purdue, All of Philadelphia knows about Carsen Edwards as he dropped 42 as Purdue took down Villanova in the 2019 NCAA Tournament.

June 6:

The headline player in this group is local product Guard Shizz Alston from Temple. A 4-year starter, Alston played in 129 games, averaging 12.4 PPG. During the 2018-19 season, Alston scored 19.7 PPG. His highest point total was 34 against Uconn in March 2019

June 7:

The notable player from this group is Guard Justin Simon from St John’s. Simon played in 91 games 8.9 PPG, during the 2018-19 season, Justin would have 10.4 PPG. Simon highest point total was 28 against Xavier in January 2018.

June 8:

The notable players from this group are local players in Eric Paschall & Phil Booth from Villanova. Philadelphia basketball knows about the two Villanova players as they were important pieces to their two National Championships in 2016-2018 with the Wildcats. Eric Paschall highest point total was 31 when Paschall was with Fordham in 2014, while Phil Booth highest points were 29 against Kansas in 2018.

June 11:

The featured player in this group is Forward Ignas Brazdeikis from Michigan, played in 37 games, scored 14.8 PPG. His highest point total was 24 against North Carolina in November 2018.

June 13:

The notable name from this group is Guard Shamorie Ponds from St. John’s. Ponds played in 96 games, 19.5 PPG. During the 2018-19 season, Shamorie would put up 19.7 PPG. Ponds career high was 44 points against Marquette in February 2018.

June 14:

The featured player in this group is Guard Jordan Poole from Michigan. Poole played in 75 games at 9.4 PPG, during the 2018-19 season he would put up 12.8 PPG. Poole highest point total was 26 points against South Carolina in December 2018.

June 18:

There were 2 players on this list that most of Philadelphia heard of in Charlie Brown & Joe Cremo. Charlie Brown played at Saint Joseph’s, played in 63 games at 16 PPG, during the 2018-19 season, Brown put up 19 PPG and his highest point total was 37 against William & Mary in November 2018. Cremo played at Villanova after being at Albany. Joe played in 136 games, 36 with Villanova and he scored 11.9 PPG, during the 2018-19 season, Cremo put up 4 PPG and his highest point total was 31 against New Hampshire in February 2018.
