The Eagles have announced the list of inactive players for this afternoon’s clash with the Atlanta Falcons.
#ATLvsPHI Inactives: T Beatty, WR Johnson, CB Jones, DE Means, DT Qualls, RB Smallwood, DT Vaeao

The good news is that run-stopping specialist Dannell Ellerbe is indeed active. The veteran replacement for Jordan Hicks has been outstanding over the last two weeks and his presence against a duo of backs who have combined for 200+ yards eight times in two years and are 7-1 when that’s been accomplished.
Sidney Jones is inactive, but the Eagles cornerback wasn’t really expected to make an impact in the playoffs anyway. Activated for week 17, Jones made his debut against Dallas but picked up an injury during the game…resting him was definitely the smarter option.
The Eagles are in the best possible shape they could be, all things considered…setting the Birds up with a fighting chance to send Atlanta limping home with a loss.
