The Eagles have made a minor roster move ahead of their 13 clash with Seattle.

The Birds placed former Bears Safety Harold Jones-Quartey on the practice squad injured list. Jones-Quartey was signed by the Eagles practice squad in mid-November after having 16 starts over a two-year stint with the Bears. With 95 tackles, two interceptions, seven pass deflections, and a forced fumble to his name, the former UDFA who latched on to the Cardinals in 2015 was signed for depth purposes when the secondary was hurting. It didn’t hurt that the Eagles had a clash with his former team just one week later.
In his place, the Eagles have added some depth along the offensive line. At 6’5″, 307 lbs, Toth was a four-year starter for Kentucky in the SEC, leading a unit that ranked number 20 in the nation and third in rushing yards per game. A projected late round pick, Toth endured disc surgery on his back weeks before the Draft and after the Niners pulled out of a UDFA deal, he’s been waiting on a chance ever since. A perfect fit for a power-running team (ahem, Eagles) who held his own against Bama in 2015, Toth will be an interesting candidate to watch if he is able to cling onto the back end roster during the offseason.
