The tale of a great offseason begins three weeks before the NHL Draft. Yetserday, the Philadelphia Flyers officially announced the signing of budding star, Forward Oskar Lindblom. The deal is a three-year entry level contract worth $925,000 annually.

Lindblom was born August 15, 1996, in Gavle, Sweden. The Flyers drafted the young phenom in the 5th round of the 2014 NHL Draft. Lindblom enjoyed a career year for Brynas IF in 2016-17, registering 22 goals, and 25 assists for a total of 47 points in 52 games played.

Barring injury Lindblom should have an immediate impact with the Flyers this fall. Between the Lindblom signing and having the 2nd overall pick in three weeks. Things seem to be on the up and up for the organization. Flyers fans the future is bright in Flyer land, and the best is yet to come.
