The award should come as no surprise given his near flawless start to the season that has seen history made and records broken.
Wentz has led his team to a 3-0 record, throwing for 769 yards and 5 touchdowns, not turning the ball over a single time during that span.
The spotlight is being placed on the Eagles and Carson Wentz after such a strong start, but the NDSU star continues to steal the show with his accuracy, poise and sheer confidence in the pocket.
This looks like it could be the start of something really special.
