The excitement continues in the City of Brotherly Love as the Eagles claim three players off of the Waiver wire.

Terrence Brooks had a brilliant final preseason campaign for the Ravens, but it wasn’t enough to keep him on the final 53-man roster. A third round pick two seasons ago, Brooks struggled to make the NFL leap. Despite playing a lot in the Ravens two most recent preseason games, Brooks has been cut from a fairly light Safety corps.

Bryce Triggs was an undrafted rookie vying to make the 49ers final 53-man roster before an MCL sprain set his progress back. A big training camp was overshadowed by an injury that stunted his preseason and despite being expected to be signed by San Francisco but the 22 year old who ran a 4.39 40-yard dash was waived, later being claimed by the Eagles.

Finally, the Eagles signed former special teamer Kamu Grungier-Hill. The sixth round pick had an impressive senior year before signing with the Patriots, racking up 70 tackles, 16.5 TFL and 6.5 sacks.

For the Eagles to sign these players to the 53-man roster, they will have to make corresponding cuts in order to make space.

Also, none of the Eagles cuts from yesterday were claimed by another team..meaning that the Eagles can bring back as many of those players as they wish for their practice squad.

The window for teams to also start building their practice squad is upon us..strap yourselves in once again!
