During the Taking Flight for Autism event at Lincoln Financial Field, CEO Jeffery Lurie announced that the Eagles will be inducting former Linebacker Jeremiah Trotter and legendary announcer Merrill Reese into the team’s Hall of Fame.

The Eagles selected Jeremiah Trotter in the third round of the 1998 NFL Draft. The Linebacker went on to register 1,065 tackles, 12.5 sacks, 8 forced fumbles, 8 interceptions and 35 passes defensed in 127 regular season games with Philadelphia, en route to helping lead his team to three NFC East titles and of course a clash with the Patriots at Super Bowl XXXIX. Out of his eleven seasons as an Eagle, Trotter racked up more than 150 tackles in five of them. The Axe-man would enjoy a phenomenal NFL career that saw him compete in four Pro Bowls alongside the many accolades attained as an anchor of a generational Eagles Defense.

Merrill Reese, the voice of the Philadelphia Eagles will also be inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame, recognizing a sensational broadcasting career that began way back in 1977. The voice of Merrill Reece has become iconic for fans both young and old. Generations have grown up listening to the passion portrayed by Reese every single Sunday and have felt all of his emotion build up inside themselves during a crucial play.

The induction will take place on November 28, when the birds meet the Packers in their Monday Night Football clash at the Linc.
