Former Eagles Tight End works out with Carolina Panthers

Following his recent release from the Denver Broncos, former tight-end James Casey has reportedly been working out with the Carolina Panthers..the team who face the Eagles in week 7.

Casey spent two years with the Philadelphia Eagles and scored two touchdowns in 2014 alongside 59 yards total receiving.

Perhaps the Panthers are looking for some depth beyond Greg Olsen or perhaps they are trying to get some inside information on the Eagles Offense ahead of their week 7 clash, either way..it’s nice to see Casey still highly regarded among free agents despite being released by two teams in less than 9 months.
